Let's Talk About IT 10th Edition – Jubilee with Valuable Insights

This was my third consecutive visit to this event and I must admit: each one is even better than the previous!

The panel discussion on conflict management was incredibly inspiring for me.

The most important thoughts about conflicts that I took from the discussion:

  • Source of conflict: It often originates within ourselves, stemming from a lack of self-awareness.
  • Mirror of emotions: We often get annoyed with someone because that person does something we don't accept in ourselves.
  • Key to understanding: De-escalation is essential – only after managing emotions can we establish authentic contact.
  • Working with tension: Tension doesn't disappear on its own; emotions must be expressed, and avoiding difficult conversations only makes things worse.
  • Value of relationships: It's worth asking yourself: 'Is my psychological cost in this conflict worth participating in it?'.

These are lessons that can successfully be transferred from the conference hall straight into everyday life.

Networking – the heart of the event

Before and after the panel – what's been giving me great joy lately: networking! Relationships are the most important element of such meetings for me. The opportunity to exchange thoughts with people from various industries, meet new inspiring individuals, and renew bonds with familiar faces – this is the real fuel for further work.
